If the weather is nice, come outside on the top deck. Bring your camera for some spectacular shots.

From the bridge the highly trained crew navigates this ferry.

Passenger Deck:

here is the entire passenger deck from a bird's eye view.

There is ample seating for all. Most seats offer picture windows. For those needing a a meal for the trip, come to the cafeteria and enjoy some west coast cuisine.

The washrooms are always kept clean and stocked. should you really be looking?

Any customer service issues or first aid needs can be taken care of at the chief steward's office.

For your convenience there is an ATM located on the passenger deck.

There are four stairwells on each deck to access the lower levels. Please use the handrails at all times as the ship's movement can cause you to lose your balance.

While you read your paper, grab a coffee or desert from the snackbar

Hmmm, some BC Ferries are named "Queen of.." and a couple of them are "Spirit of .." I nominate Spirit of Christiansen, in honor of Ole Kirk Christiansen, inventor of the Lego brick.

That is one sweet ferry.

Okay. SOme BG Info. She is a "C" class, which typically have the name "Queen of Coquitlam", "Queen of Cowichan", but they also have names like "Queen of Surrey", the infamous "Queen of Oak Bay" and the ugly duckling, the "Queen of Alberni". if i had a Choice, because BCF is moving away from "Queen of" and "Spirit of" i shall stick with the "Coastal" and Call her the "Coastal Imagination"

Great Job! I just saw it on CTV News.Very Impressive.
Too bad it wasn't a Spirit Class, You Could of named it the Queen of Lego after the Spirit of British Columbia's Nickname when she was being built.

But as long as this doesn't turn out like BC Ferries' Name the Super C Class Contest. How bout Queen of the Brick.

Though I do Agree with Coastal Imagination

Hey, just found your blog through the BC Ferries Forum. Very impressive work you have done. I am shocked at the level of detail you included. Costal Imagination sounds like a great suggestion. Once again, good work.

Nice work! I just saw featured on CTV News at 6 tonight. Very elegant and intricate. Chopper 9 was very well made as well as the reporter.

"Queen of Much Needed Repairs" seems to be taken by the current "vessel of the day", and your craft seems far too well built to be a real BC Ferry! :-)

Depending on what naming convention you want to use ....

"Spirit of Persistance"
"Queen of Creativity"

or something along those lines!

Great work, BTW. Found your link from the ferries forum ... come on and visit:

name it Camia! hehehe. seriously, no one else has named a boat that i'll bet. :D Anyway, yeah i just saw this work of art featured on the news tonight and it looks FABULOUS. I cannot believe the intricate details you put into it (people, facilities, etc), which just makes your ship all the more phenomenal. Fantastic job! Have fun with your future endeavours.

I love how admins abuse their powers to remove the truth about this subject. A grown man playing with legos. Jood job.

Jay here from Japan. Was watching the hockey news and saw your segment. Lego is quite popular over here too. Why not call it:

QUEEN OF THE WORLD

a little James Cameron tongue-in-cheek but also to show how powerful lego is on the world stage.

Take care and good work!

Greetings from sunny Miami, Florida! I'm down here celebrating my mom's 75th birthday. She wanted to catch up on some news from Vancouver and we just saw the segment on your Lego ferry. I was absolutely impressed! Though I'm 42, I still have all my childhood lego stored away in a box. Never built something as impressive as what you've done though! Congrats!!!

Kudos to dad Weckstrom for getting you started by leaving Legos in the family room every morning, leading into such amazing feats of accomplishment!!!

I think you should call your ship:

The Spirit of Success.
